Lost Gulch is a picturesque overlook in the Rocky Mountains that takes in views of Boulder, CO in the valley below and beautiful mountains on all other sides. It’s a special place to me, because I got engaged to my husband there. While we were happily making plans a quick moving thunderstorm came up on us and started to roll through. One glance at my hair, which was beginning to stand on end, had us running for our car!

“Lost Gulch 3” is a mixed media painting on paper. I’ve used acrylic inks, charcoal, watercolor, graphite, pastels, and colored pencil. The painting is 6×6 inches and comes ready to hang on your wall. The frame is graphite colored metal (see close up photo of the frame for the best color match) with a warm off-white mat. It is securely wired and has small bumpers on the bottom to keep it from moving around on your wall.
