36x36 inch original mixed media painting

This painting reflects my appreciation of stacked stones. When I lived in Boulder, CO we would hike in the mountains and often came upon stacks of stones near the trail. People would walk by and if they could, they’d add another stone to the cairn.

“A Bold Statement” is an original acrylic/mixed media painting made of many layers. It was created on a 36x36 inch gallery wrapped canvas that is 1.5 inches deep. The edges are painted with a sepia tinted wash.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It has easy to hang hardware (adjustable Wall Buddies hangers) installed on the back and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
