18x24 inch original mixed media painting

When I was growing up, I thought I could write poetry. I had a notebook that I used to write down my poems and ideas for them. Somewhere along the way, that notebook disappeared (I most likely tossed it when I was older and realized how ridiculous it was).

Today, I know that I more assuredly am not a poet but the beauty of well written verse is not lost on me. This painting is simply called "Poetry," and has asemic writing in it that is a nod to perfectly composed words without actually spelling them out.

“Poetry” is a beautifully layered original acrylic/mixed media painting. It was created on a 18x24 inch gallery wrapped canvas that is 1.5 inches deep. The painting is carried around the edges.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It has been securely wired and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
