40×30 inch original mixed media painting on gallery-wrapped canvas

“Road Trip To Taos” was created just after I got home from delivering a group of paintings to a gallery in Santa Fe. We took a day trip up to Taos and the colors of the desert and the mountains captivated me. From the adobe architecture, to the colors of the sky, I was very inspired and could be found trying to paint watercolor in the car in an attempt to capture the beauty of all that I was seeing.

This is a multi-layered original acrylic/mixed media painting. It was created on gallery wrapped canvas that is 1.5 inches deep. It does not come framed, but I wanted to show a photo of one of the possibilities that could complement it if you chose to do that. The painting carries around the edges of the painting giving a finished look if you prefer the look of just the canvas and no frame.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It has easy-to-hang hardware (adjustable Wall Buddies hangers) installed on the back and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
