12×12 inch original mixed media painting

I’ve been incorporating acrylic inks into my paintings recently and this series really let me explore that. This painting is made of those inks, acrylic paint, colored pencil, charcoal, and graphite. I love to combine different mediums because they give the painting so much contrast and create exciting differences.

Atramentous means “inky” or “deeply black in color,” and I think it suits these ink explorations perfectly.

“Atramentous Exhibit B” is an original acrylic/mixed media painting. It was created on a 12×12 inch wood panel that is 2 inches deep. The sides are a natural light wood.

It’s ready for you to hang on your wall. It is securely wired and has small clear bumpers to keep it from moving around once you have hung it.
